Even Beauche’s dramatic unfolding as a business venture traces a history of fine craftsmanship and creative acumen among its originators wrought in a philosophy of love, passion, and dedication to impart wellness to people.

Behind the sterling landmark of Beauche’s nationally renowned business success, its founder modestly traces the memory of its humble beginnings with her once simple thrust to seek means to augment her earnings. Mayor Conchita Toribio Delos Reyes in Liberal Party Meet with Mar Roxas

Che Toribio Delos Reyes

Mayor Conchita Toribio-Delos Reyes of Carmen, Bohol is likely to be the official candidate of the administration Liberal Party for representative of her province, as indicated at the meeting of the country’s municipal mayors in Manila where  Che Toribio Delos Reyes hobnobbed with local LP leaders led by Interior Secretary Mar Roxas.

The official get-together of municipal mayors was called by the LP leadership to firm up party support for Roxas who has been anointed as LP standard bearer for next year’s presidential election.  All LP-affiliated local leaders belonging to the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) attended the event to signify their loyalty to the administration party and choice of Roxas as presidential bet.

Although not yet an LP member, Che’s attendance at the exclusive LP bash spoke volumes about the political party that will banner her congressional run for Bohol in 2016.  Che lost by a small margin in the 2013 midterm elections to current Bohol Governor Edgar Chatto, who is an LP member.  But recent developments tend to show that the LP leadership has warmed up to Che more than Chatto.

Che Delos Reyes

One of the pictures taken during the ULAP meeting showed Che in a serious huddle with Roxas.  Another photo has Che holding the arm of Roxas while in a cordial discussion.
An LP mayor from another Bohol town who seems to prefer Che Toribio as official LP bet for congresswoman of the province believed that Che’s high-profile attendance at the ULAP meet signaled her joining the administration party.

The mayor said Che Toribio entry into the LP’s celebration of Roxas’ endorsement by the President may be interpreted that she’s already “in” as administration candidate for Bohol congressman.  However, Che’s camp still would not say if she is shifting her party affiliation.
With reports that Toribio-Delos Reyes is poised to affiliate with the ruling party, local LP stalwarts in Bohol would not confirm or deny it.  They said it is up to LP national leaders to decide on the matter.

Delos Reyes is preparing to contest the Bohol governorship against Congressman Arthur Yap, a former agriculture secretary under former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and a member of GMA’s Lakas-CMD.  Che announced this political plan as early as last May when she visited Rep. Aris Aumentado at his house during the fiesta celebration of Tagbilaran City.

Delos Reyes’ trusted lieutenants said that everything is all set for her to gun for congresswoman in the third district against Yap, who ran largely unopposed in 2010 and 2013 elections.

If Delos Reyes has been crisscrossing the 19 towns to prepare for her electoral bid in the district, Yap also activated his AYO or Arthur Yap Organization, taking sorties in mostly barangays, a municipal mayor said.

Conchita Toribio Delos Reyes: Inspirational Story on GMA's ‘Powerhouse’

Che Toribio Delos Reyes

From rags to 22 luxury cars, a sprawling estate plus about two dozen prime properties and an international business. This is the story of Conchita Toribio–Delos Reyes featured in an stimulating episode of GMA-7 “Powerhouse”, which puts the spotlight on houses and lives of inspiring Filipinos.  On it, Ms.Conchita Toribio, Che to family and friends, shares the secrets behind her success which started with a dream and a beauty soap.

A daughter of a labandera and a kartero, Che Toribio vowed early on to overcome grinding poverty armed with nothing but great religiosity, a knack for business that she showed at an early age, hard work, determination and singleness of purpose.

Che Delos Reyes started to give shape to her dreams at age 14 by selling fruits and vegetables in the market in her hometown in Bohol. The family then lived as squatters, now euphemistically called informal settlers, in a shack that was soon demolished. Rendered homeless in Bohol, Conchita’s mother brought the grieving family to Cavite where an uncle runs a modest furniture shop. The uncle agreed to shelter the desperate relatives from Bohol and Che Toribio Ordonez offered to repay the kindness by helping manage the furniture business. But then this furniture shop went out of business. The now fully grown Conchita Toribio was not one to give up her dream. She faced up to the challenge by doing odd jobs.  She went back to selling vegetables. She sold kitchen utensils house-to-house.  She solicited insurance. Then she discovered the beauty product industry.

It all started with the whitening bath soap Beauche, which comes from the phrase "beautiful Che." Che Delos Reyes, who is no mean looker herself, made up the name to demonstrate that her beautifying product indeed works on her.  In other words, she offered herself as brand model not only to save up on costs but also to show that the product is so good the maker uses it herself.   The venture into beauty soap making had a measly P20,000 startup capital.  But the venture grew and expanded into other lines of beauty products. Beauche International now exports to countries such as the United States, Canada, UK, etc.

Che Toribio Ordonez and her family now resides in a 1,000 square meter property in Cavite. She lived with her husband, her five children and their families. The three-storey property has a couple of unique features that Conchita Toribio Delos Reyes, herself picked out: a ceiling made of Antique wood from Isabella, her treasured Swarovski chandelier, and a collection of royal glass from Italy. In her Cavite mansion, she holds parties for her investors which is why this house has multiple living rooms.

She, like any other women, is fond of beautiful things. Shopping is a luxury she can afford. Christian Dior, Louie Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel are just some of the designers she finds irresistible. Even though, she shops frequently, her space for shoes did not grow as much. Her shoes only last three months in her closet, as she share her blessings with those who can't afford it. Apart from shoes, she also collects expensive bags and jewelleries.

As an owner now of an international company, she needs fast and efficient transportation. From an old Mitsubushi Adventure, she now travels on a grand bulletproof SUV. Her cars grew exponentially as her business expanded. Apart from her personal vehicles, the garage is packed with luxury cars as if it were an auto showroom in Makati. Porches, Mercedes Benzes, Fords, BMWs, Chevrolets.  You name it.

From a successful woman, this simple yet powerful advice is valuable to her achievements: "Umpisahan niyo muna with a very clear motive. For me, you need the clean heart, intention, just be very transparent to God. Don't give up. Ang katapat ng kawalan, pangangailangan at kahirapan ay sipag lang talaga."
